L’École d’art d’Ottawa (ÉAO) a le plaisir de vous inviter à sa collecte de fonds 2014 soulignant son 135e anniversaire. Guidée par sa devise « Enseigner l’art à tous », l’ÉAO est un chef de file dans le domaine de l’enseignement des arts à Ottawa depuis 1879. À l’occasion de cette soirée exceptionnelle, nous apprécierions grandement un don de votre part pour notre enchère silencieuse. Votre contribution complèterait à merveille cette mémorable soirée.

 

Organisée pour une 9e année consécutive, la collecte de fonds annuelle, célébrant cette année le 135e anniversaire de l’ÉAO, a pour objectif d’amasser 20 000 $ tout en faisant la promotion de son programme de bourse pour étudiants. École d’art à but non lucratif, l’ÉAO facilite l’accès à des cours d’art à des centaines étudiants chaque année grâce à son programme de bourses. Joignez-vous à nous et démontrez votre engagement envers les arts et la culture à Ottawa. L’étude des arts plastiques est un mode unique d’apprentissage et de développement personnel. Nous sollicitons votre soutien pour nous aider à enrichir la vie des étudiants dans le besoin en leur offrant un accès à des cours de qualité en arts plastiques offerts par des enseignants professionnels.

Michael Burgess

Michael Burgess

Michael Burgess is one of Canada’s most distinguished actors and singers with award winning performances in theatre, film and television. His major theatre credits include the role of Jean Valjean in Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre (Dora Award Nomination), the tenth Anniversary Concert at Royal Albert Hall, London, England; the Narrator in Blood Brothers in Blood Brothers with David Cassidy (Royal Alexandra Theatre, Toronto), and Man of La Mancha. Besides appearing off Broadway, Michael has appeared with the Stratford Festival, the National Arts Centre, to name a few venues, and has appeared in many television and film productions.  Michael starred in his own Gemini Award Winning CBC-TV Special, ‘Michael Burgess at Massey Hall’. A recording artist, Michael has two CDs, ‘A Place in the Sun’, and ‘Angels in the Snow’. Michael received both the Queens’ Golden Jubilee and the Diamond Jubilee Medal, along the Distinguished Canadian Leadership Award from the University of Ottawa. On February 6, 2013, Michael Burgess was induced into the Order of Ontario. Michael’s passionate commitment to charitable organizations matches his stellar performance career.
