The Ottawa School of Art’s (OSA) is proud to announce that its annual fall fundraiser Small Medium Largeis back! Held at 35 George St in the Byward Market, November 23rd; OSA has seen an enormous amount of generosity from local artists donating beautiful works of art during the one night only sale.
Advance tickets are now on sale at the OSA reception desk – with this year’s host, Chinatown’s very own China Doll and DJ Jas Nasty performing, Ottawa’s cultured and art savvy citizens will be attending the fall party in Ottawa! Small Medium Large, taking on an Asian flavour to the evening, will combine the worlds of Chinatown’s take out restaurants and the OSA art gallery creating an exciting mixture of art sales and delicious Asian treats sponsored by the Chinatown BIA.
We will also be announcing a special partnership at Small Medium Large: the Chinatown BIA and Ottawa School of Art will embark on a project called Chinatown Blossom; a floral themed mural project OSA students will take part in along five blocks of Somerset St beginning May 2013. The school is very excited to be a part of this vibrant community that is so supportive of the arts.
How the night works: The artwork will be organized in small, medium and large sections in the Main Gallery according to physical size. Guests’ door tickets will be called and then have the chance to grab a work of art at a set price ONE NIGHT ONLY- order your art to go!
