Whole Foods: Our Sweet Home - Art About Animals, Birds, and Plants
Register This workshop takes place at Whole Foods: 951 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON K1S 3W7

Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent who has also paid for the workshop.

In this relaxing, fascinating 2-hours painting session, guests are invited to try and explore different techniques in water-based media (acrylics, watercolour, printmaking ink, golden liquid paints, etc.) Under friendly, step-by-step guidance, attendees will be able to create several small art pieces of their personal choices and desires in order to reveal their inner creative self!
The theme for this workshop is Nature! We will gain inspiration from our local Ontario-growing flowers, plants, birds and animals (local raccoons, squirrels and other greedy critters aren’t invited to Whole Foods as live models, but are kindly welcomed to inspire us to make our animal illustrations); seasonal mayflowers, daisies, golden cups, daffodils or tulips; robins, red-winged starlings, our Canadian geese and loons – any of these images can be painted onto your creative postcards, bookmarks and small ready-to-cut watercolour sheets!
All materials included. Attendees are welcome to bring images or materials they wish.

If you experience online registration issues with this workshop, please contact the Ottawa School of Art to register! We apologize for any inconvenience. Please leave a message and someone will get back to you: 613-241-7471
