The Space Between Us: Art as a Connector, Intro, Wednesday, 1 - 4 pm, start date: 10/05/2022
Register
The purpose of this course is to connect people to each other, their fellow students and to themselves. Each week students will be given prompts and guidance to create artwork stemming from their own lives. The student can expect the widening of their source of inspiration, thought process, and outlook toward art and life. Artists should expect to think in depth and reflect on each class, to awaken or recognize a part of their life that might not have been fully acknowledged before. This course will allow students to express their thoughts and life in a new way. No artistic experience is required. Students will work in any medium they feel inspired to use (e.g., Drawing, painting, photography, etc.) The course is designed to free the student/artist, using the prompts and guidance in the class, to reconnect with who they are and how they fit in this world and with other human beings.

A journey into colour, from an oil painter’s perspective.
