Portrait and Figure Drawing: Sketch to Detail, Intro-adv: Tues, 6 - 9 pm
Register Linear drawing and sketching are the base on lines and an excellent drawing technique and way of gaining hand control over the line, honing fine motor skills.
Tonal drawing more often used by painters, because their perception of colour and tone often based on play of various masses of a tone different in saturation and configuration.
And, of course, there is also a complex approach to drawing with the use of both techniques.

Succession in drawing will result in certain benefits: eye training, ability to catch movement, proportions and composition at once, without prolonged and sometimes tiresome process.

Watercolour Illustration - Food, Furniture, Fashion and More! Intro-inter: Tues, 6 - 9 pm
Register Discover the rich history of styles of illustration, decorative lettering and drawing fancy characters (either as a part of your art journal, the substantial component of your professional portfolio or a set of handmade postcards for craft fairs) – basics, ideas, composition theory and planning, intricate techniques; unconventional skills and practical improvisation of illustrators and artisans who create it both for the beauty, as well as for utility and pleasure.

Contemporary Printmaking, Intro-adv: Mon, 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Register Contemporary printmaking is a class for all levels of expertise. The main goal is to learn the fundaments of printmaking, from technique to appreciation in an open and welcoming environment. The class works as an open studio allowing the students to work in their own pace and allowing me to work one on one. The techniques to be explored are Relief printmaking, (woodcuts and linocuts), drypoint and introduction to etching and aquatint, and for more advanced students, intro to lithography.

This class is great for beginners in printmaking as well as experienced printmaking artists with non-typical ideas or people interested in pop art.
The idea of the class is to integrate printmaking techniques and qualities in your personal work. Unlike other print classes, this course is more focused on the aesthetic and visual possibilities of printmaking, and not the “hard rules”. This class is not about what you can't do but is about all the different approaches of printmaking techniques.

Series of sessions are designed to help students to find and develop your own style, to experiment with water-based media such as ink, gouache, watercolor crayons, chalk pastels and different resists. You will be encouraged to find subjects that interest you – and instructions will be given to help you reach your highest creative potential and feel satisfied with your accomplishments.
