EXHIBITION DATES: March 31 – May 15, 2016
The exhibit is open to all professional printmaking artists. The prints must be made with any generally accepted graphic techniques. Each artist can submit a maximum of 4 prints to the jury. Prints must be numbered and signed by the artist and must have been produced since January 1, 2014. The maximum dimension of the print image is 10 cm x 10 cm. The maximum dimension of the print matrix (paper, cloth, etc.) is 20 cm x 20 cm. (Full Entry Conditions available below)

Deadline for submitting artwork is February 19, 2016. All work must arrive no later than 5:00 pm local time (EST) in order to be considered for the exhibition.
The OSA is a leading centre for visual arts education and creative expression in the Ottawa region.
In 1879 by a group of prominent local citizens under the patronage of the Governor General, the Marquis of Lorne and his wife, the Princess Louise founded the Ottawa Art Association. The Association was determined to open as a school of art and design in the capital. Classes began in April of 1880 with 18 students enrolled in the Ottawa Art School, as it was then called. Over the next 100 years there were many changes and transitions to the school and its community, but the school survived and emerged from the war years as the Ottawa Municipal Art Centre. In 1976 the school was reorganized under its present name and in 1983 it moved into its present location in the By Ward Market district in Ottawa. In 2009 the school expanded with a second campus being added in the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans. In the 2010-11 school year there were 3,613 registrations in over a dozen different disciplines at both campuses.

DATES DE L’EXPOSITION : 31 mars au 15 mai 2016
L’exposition est ouverte à tous les artistes professionnels. Les estampes doivent être réalisées à partir de techniques d’illustration généralement acceptées. Chaque participant peut présenter un maximum de quatre (4) estampes au jury. Les estampes doivent être numérotées et signées par l’artiste, et avoir été réalisées après le 1 er janvier 2014. La date limite pour présenter les œuvres est le 19 février 2016. Les œuvres doivent nous parvenir au plus tard à 17 h heure locale (HE) afin d’être prises en considération pour l’exposition. La grandeur des estampes ne doit pas être supérieure à 10 cm x 10 cm. La mesure maximale de la matrice de l’estampe (papier, tissu, etc.) est de 20 cm x 20 cm.

L’ÉAO est un chef de file en enseignement des arts visuels et de l’expression de la créativité dans la région d’Ottawa.
En 1879 fut fondée l’Ottawa Art Association par un groupe d’éminents citoyens sous le patronat du gouverneur général, le marquis de Lorne et son épouse, la Princesse Louise. L’Association était résolue à ouvrir une école d’art et de design dans la capitale. Les cours débutèrent en avril 1880 avec 18 étudiants inscrits à l’Ottawa Art School, comme on l’appelait à l’époque. Au cours du siècle suivant, l’École et sa communauté durent s’adapter à de nombreux changements, mais l’École survécut et traversa la guerre pour renaître sous le nom d’Ottawa Municipal Art Centre. En 1976, l’École se présenta sous son nom actuel et en 1983 elle fut déplacée vers son emplacement actuel dans le quartier du marché By, à Ottawa. En 2009, l’École prit de l’expansion en se prévalant d’un second campus situé dans le Centre des arts Shenkman à Orléans. Au cours de l’année scolaire 2010-11, l’École dénombra pas moins de 3 613 inscriptions à des cours offerts dans une douzaine de disciplines et aux deux campus.
