Statement
Canada Naturally
In celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary, the Ottawa-Gatineau Printmakers’ Connective honours the tradition of the depiction of Canadian landscape in print. What better way to show the great diversity of Canada in its natural aspect than through the multifaceted aspects of printmaking! Happy sesquicentennial Canada!
The mandate of the Connective is to foster and promote the knowledge and appreciation of hand-pulled prints and of printmaking among its members and the general public. The exhibit shows the great breadth of the Connective in terms of technique, approach, and topical interest. Housed at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre, the Connective offers regular meetings, outings, and fellowship to its general membership, as well as studio resources by special subscription. Shows of members’ prints are ongoing at the Connective Gallery in the Nepean Creative Arts Centre’s main office area. The Connective’s website is at: https://ottawagatineauprintmakers.wordpress.com
