Biography
Valorie has always been an artist, but is just getting used to the idea that her work is beautiful and should be shared. She enjoys the messy process of creating sculptural artwork from cotton fibre pulp, which is not the same as paper maché! Influenced by stories, dreams and the world around her, Valorie’s work is playful and whimsical, colourful and tantalizingly textured. The completed pieces beg to be touched and dare people to ignore them! Her work is exhibited privately in homes throughout Canada, as well as the Ottawa School of Art, with a couple of pieces having escaped to London, England.
