The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) Gallery is pleased to host its seventh international biennale juried exhibition of miniature prints featuring print artists from 20 countries from around the world. This year’s exhibition has 355 works, 135 artists and 21 countries. While we will not be hosting a vernissage (due to the pandemic), the exhibition will run from October 17 to November 22 at the OSA’s Main Campus Gallery, 35 George St.
Artists were asked to submit their small-format prints (maximum of 10 cm by 10 cm) for exhibition in the OSA’s main gallery, with artists working in any print medium, with only original artwork being exhibited. An invited jury was asked to select five prize-winners in each of the categories.
We are pleased to announce the purchase prize winners for the Eighth International Miniature Print Biennale Exhibition:
- Best relief Print: TBD
- Best Intaglio Print: TBD
- Best Lithography Print: TBD
- Best Screen Print: TBD
- Best New Media Print: TBD
The winning prints will be purchased by the OSA; the purchased prints will become part of the OSA’s permanent collection, with the winners having their entry fees waived for the nineth biennale International Miniature Print Exhibition in 2022, in addition to having their print shown prominently in the gallery and in the online catalogue at artottawa.ca.
Prints will be on display and for sale until November 22 2020 at the OSA’s Main Gallery located at 35 George St. Admission to the OSA’s gallery spaces is always free and everyone is welcome. See here for information about visiting our galleries during the pandemic.
