On Friday, September 12th, between 5:45-8:45 we will be having our annual Orientation Night
at OSA (room 208). It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet other students and to see who’s who around the school. It will be an action packed evening with an artist’s presentation by Gail Bourgeois – a chance to hear her talk about her current exhibition at the Diefenbaker. You’ll be meeting members of the school’s administration, listening to music and participating in a contest! I should also mention that there will be free beer and pizza (and non alcoholic drinks, of course).
So make plans to attend, it will be a fun evening made even more fun by you being there!
Also, we’ve created an open group on Facebook for OSA Portfolio and Diploma students. The “OSA Diploma Program” group is designed for potential, current, and alumni students to network with other students and instructors. Please feel free to share exhibition info, photos and artwork, etc. I encourage you to join as you will undoubtedly benefit from the exchange of information between students and instructors.
I wish you all an engaging and creative year! See you next week!
