The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) Outreach Program is very proud to present recent artworks produced by Outreach Program participants in collaboration with our community partners at Christie Lake Kids, Michele Heights Community House, Minwaashin Lodge, Operation Come Home, Ottawa Inuit Children’s Centre, Rochester Heights Community House Sandy Hill Community Health Centre and Winthrop Court Community House.
Participants (ranging in age from 6 years old to 25 years old) were offered white cotton T-shirts, foam board shapes, and a workshop with Maker Mobile uOttawa and invited to create unique and personal artworks. The results are stunning, colourful and imaginative sculptures, mobiles and wearable art works.

The OSA Outreach Program is dedicated to providing free, community based visual art classes to children and youth who face difficult economic or social circumstances, and have limited access to the many benefits of a structured creative environment.

Le Programme Communautaire de l’École d’art d’Ottawa (EAO) est très fier de présenter des œuvres d’art récentes réalisées par les participants du Programme communautaire en collaboration avec nos partenaires: le Centre pour enfants inuits d’Ottawa, Christie Lake Kids, Maison communautaire Michele Heights, Maison communautaire Rochester Heights, Maison communautaire Winthrop Court, Minwaashin Lodge, Centre de santé communautaire Côte-de-Sable et Opération rentrer au foyer.

Les participants (âgés de 6 à 25 ans) ont reçus des t-shirts en coton blanc, des formes en carton mousse et ont suivi un atelier avec Maker Mobile uOttawa. Ils ont été invités à créer des œuvres uniques et personnelles : des mobiles, des sculptures et des œuvres d’art portables étonnants, colorés et imaginatifs.

Le programme communautaire de l’ÉAO offre des cours d’arts visuels gratuits aux enfants et aux adolescents évoluant dans des situations économiques et sociales difficiles et ayant un accès limité à un environnement créatif structuré.
