The Minto Suites Hotel exhibition space is located at 187 Lyon St. north, just at the beginning of the concourse on the main floor. These display case measures 53” in height, 191” in length, and 14” in depth and offers access to a high traffic up scale business and vacation traveler clientele.

Artist Statement
Clare Brebner
This series of illustrations is inspired by my first attempts at gardening, starting from seed. What initially begun as a daily warm-up sketch turned into a summer-long documentation of successes, failures, and the passage of time in this balcony garden. While most botanical illustrations depict plants in their prime, I was determined to continue creating images even during the plants’ less desirable stages. Having started the plants from seeds, I felt connected to them. Here are a few examples of these works, ranging from the eager beginning to the inevitable Canadian winter end.
