
Our Scholarship donors are generous and caring people who unselfishly give to support the educational endeavours of our students. They help to lighten the financial burden which allows Diploma students to focus more on their studies. Without each of these donors, we wouldn’t be able to offer these opportunities to our students.
OTTAWA SCHOOL OF ART FALL SCHOLARSHIPS:
- Ottawa Mixed Media Artists Scholarship (two valued at $175 each – one distributed in the fall and one in the winter) Open to all Fine Arts Diploma students.
- Lee Matasi Memorial Scholarship (valued at $1000) open to all first year students.
- Lillian Rapport Memorial Fund Scholarship (2 scholarships valued at around $900 each) Open to all Fine Arts Diploma students and Portfolio Development students;
- The Ted Marshall Memorial Scholarship (2 scholarships valued at around $900) open to all general program students, Fine Arts Diploma Students and Portfolio Development students;
- Sheila Durno Memorial Scholarship ((2) value $500) Open to 2 part-time or full-time first year Fine Arts Diploma Students and Portfolio Development students;
- Fritz Allgoewer Memorial Scholarship ((2) value $250) Open to 2 full time students (1 second year and 1 third year student) of the Fine Arts Diploma Program, must demonstrate financial need.
- Robert Hyndman Drawing and Painting Scholarship (value $150) -Open to all Fine Arts Diploma students and Portfolio Development students;
- Totem Pole of Canada Scholarship (valued at $463.40 ($2317/5 years)) Open to all general, diploma fine arts students and Portfolio Development students; priority will be given to aboriginal, first nations or persons of indigenous decent. (In it’s third year – 2019)
- Betty Davidson Fund (value at $405 in 2019) Open to all diploma fine arts students and Portfolio Development students
- Lillian Evenchick Memorial Sculpture Scholarship (valued at $1303 for 2019) open to second or third year full time students in the Fine Arts Diploma or portfolio program.
OTTAWA SCHOOL OF ART WINTER SCHOLARSHIPS:
- Ottawa Art Association Fine Arts Scholarship (value $1000) open for students in their second year of full-time studies;
- ScribArt Painting Scholarship (value $1000) open to second or third year full time students in the Fine Arts Diploma.
- David and Nicole Henderson Scholarship (value $1000) open to all students involved in full-time studies at the OSA.
- Wallack’s Fine Art Scholarship (value $1000 -$500 towards tuition and $500 voucher for materials) Open to all first year students of the Fine Arts Diploma program and the Portfolio Development program.
- Leonard Gerbrandt Printmaking Scholarship (value $500) Open to all general program students, Fine Arts Diploma Students and Portfolio Development students;
- Corrie Gibson Memorial Study Scholarship (value $500) open to all third year students.
- Corrie Gibson Memorial Studio Scholarship (value $500) open to all third year students.

- Dario Catana Memorial Mixed Media Scholarship – (valued at $1000) open to all to all part-time or full time first year students of the Fine Arts Diploma program and the Portfolio Development program.
- Laham-Tourbin Drawing and Painting Scholarship – (valued at $500) open to all part-time or full time second and third year students of the Fine Arts Diploma program and the Portfolio Development program.
- Dr. Eva B Furesz Memorial Scholarship -(valued at $1000) open for students in their first year of part-time or full time students of the Fine Arts Diploma program and the Portfolio Development program.
Note: The above scholarships are awarded as tuition credits. Some values are subject to change due to the nature of each particular scholarship fund. Most memorial scholarships are funded by donors through CanadaHelps.org or the Community Foundation of Ottawa or funds sent directly to the Ottawa School of Art.
