Introduction to Linocut, Intro-inter: Online - Thurs, 1 - 3 pm
Online registrations for this course will finish 24 hours before the start date and time. If you have not received the link for the course before the start, please contact the Ottawa School of Art: info@artottawa.ca

This print class introduces students to relief (linocut) printing techniques, enabling them to explore their own imagery through the versatility of print. Because linocut printing does not require toxic chemicals to create the plate, or a printing press to print, it is an ideal technique to develop at home. Working in black and white, students will explore expressive mark and pattern, the essence of linocut. Colour printing using chine colle will also be explored.
