Digital Portrait Photography, Intro; Tue, 6 - 9 pm, start date: 07/04/2023
Register The goals of a portrait are to provide an impression of a person's physical appearance and/or to reveal aspects of the person's identity.
The workshop aims to develop understandings and skills of Portrait Photography to be able to capture the identity, personality, and essence of (mainly!) people as subjects. The studies will primarily focus on two aspects:
1) photographic techniques such as composition, lighting, and posing; photos sessions and environments;
2) people skills to approach, interact and develop good portraits. This includes but it’s not limited to generosity, collaboration, empathy, trust and assertiveness.
The goal is to understand two basic principles in portraiture:
“The human first, the photographer second. “
“Not two individuals are the same; not two photo sessions are the same”.
