The Ottawa School of Art Orleans Campus is proud to present 8X8, a fundraiser providing art class bursaries, on Friday November 17th from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Ottawa School of Art’s Orleans Gallery on the main floor of the Shenkman Arts Centre.
All 8×8 artworks will be sold for 108$ plus tax with a portion of the proceeds going to the artist and a portion going to the bursary program. As a non-for-profit school, OSA provides bursaries ranging from $150- $350 for those looking for financial aid. Supporting children, youth and adults with professional art courses throughout the year! Come out to a great evening of art, the opportunity to purchase wonderful small works by local artist, meet the artists and help make art education accessible to all.
We offer bursaries to those with financial need looking to advance their art education, at every age at the Ottawa School of Art, we offer bursaries those based on the funds available. With your help we can make opportunities for others to learn about and create art!

The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) is Ottawa’s longest running Independent Art School offering general interest courses and a certificate and fine arts diploma program. As a major charitable visual arts institution in the Ottawa-Gatineau/Eastern Ontario region, the OSA has been teaching art to everyone since 1879, and offers courses at two campuses, and online. All courses are taught by successful practicing visual artists, and are enriched with specialized and equipped studio facilities. The professional galleries at the ByWard and Orleans campuses host solo and group exhibitions by local, national, and international artists, artist in residence program, artist talks, workshops. The OSA provides children and youth seasonal art camps and leads an Outreach Program with local community partners in their own neighbourhoods.
