Ottawa, ON (August 14, 2015) The Ottawa School of Art Orleans Campus is proud to present its annualInstructors Exhibition, from August 7 to September 6 at the Ottawa School of Art’s Orleans Gallery on the main floor of the Shenkman Arts Centre, Orleans. Reception: meet the artist takes place on Sunday, August 23 from 1pm to 3pm. All are welcome!

This exhibition offers an opportunity for students and community alike to see the high caliber and wide variety of media, techniques, and styles of art being taught at the school, as well as visit our studios and talk to staff and faculty. The 2015 Instructors’ Exhibition features painting, sculpture, watercolour, mixed media, book binding, and much more.

This year the exhibition showcases the artworks of Aline Joanis, Andrea Mossop, Clare Brebner, David Kearn, Gail Bourgeois, Jim Lawrence, John Alexander Day, Kerri Weller, Lindsay Watson, Lindy Nadarajah, Martin Deschatelets, Mary Ann Varley, Mary Kritz, Nadine Argo, Nathalie Grice, Patricia Savoie, Rosemary Breault-Landry, Suzanne Valois, Valerie Ryan, Vanessa Dewson, Veronica Keith, Deidre Hierlihy and Samia Ben Salah. This show is a wonderful cross section of our instructors and our programs.

The Ottawa School of Art offers a full range of specialized art courses for all ages. We have courses in life drawing, landscape painting, contemporary painting, sculpture, watercolour, printmaking, photography, bookbinding, and more. There are also a wide variety of workshops. We offer many dynamic children’s and teens’ classes for ages 4 to 17. In addition to art courses, the OSA Orleans campus’ programs have grown to include a non-for-credit Arts Fundamentals Certificate, professional exhibitions, artist talks, and lectures.

Ottawa, ON (14 août 2015) L’École d’art d’Ottawa – campus d’Orléans est fière de présenter son exposition annuelle des professeurs, du 7 août au 6 septembre, à la galerie d’Orléans de l’École d’art d’Ottawa, située à l’étage principal du Centre des arts Shenkman. La réception et rencontre avec les artistes a lieu le dimanche 23 août de 13 h à 15 h. Bienvenue à tous!

Cette exposition offre la chance aux étudiants et à la communauté de venir apprécier la qualité des œuvres et la variété des techniques, styles et approches artistiques enseignés à l’École et de visiter ses espaces tout en discutant avec le personnel et les professeurs. L’exposition des professeurs 2015 présente une variété d’œuvres; peinture, sculpture, aquarelle, techniques mixtes, livres d’art et bien plus encore.

Cette année, l’exposition met en valeur les œuvres Aline Joanis, Andrea Mossop, Clare Brebner, David Kearn, Gail Bourgeois, Jim Lawrence, John Alexander Day, Kerri Weller, Lindsay Watson, Lindy Nadarajah, Martin Deschatelets, Mary Ann Varley, Mary Kritz, Nadine Argo, Nathalie Grice, Patricia Savoie, Rosemary Breault-Landry, Suzanne Valois, Valerie Ryan, Vanessa Dewson, Veronica Keith, Deidre Hierlihy and Samia Ben Salah. Cette exposition offre un regard sur plusieurs des professeurs de l’ÉAO et sur sa programmation.

L’École d’art d’Ottawa offre une gamme complète de cours d’art spécialisés pour tous les âges. L’École offre notamment des cours de dessin d’après modèles, peinture de paysage et contemporaine, sculpture, aquarelle, gravure, photographie, reliure d’art, en plus d’une grande variété d’ateliers. De nombreux cours pour enfants et adolescents de 4 à 17 ans sont également offerts. En plus des cours d’art, le campus d’Orléans offre maintenant un programme de certificat d’arts fondamentaux, des expositions professionnelles et des causeries avec des artistes.
