FINE ARTS DIPLOMA and PORTFOLIO CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Registration deadline: Friday, AUGUST 29, 2014

The Ottawa School of Art follows a tradition of alternative art schools by providing the community with the opportunity for visual expression and creative development. In addition to the vibrant arts community within the school, students have the advantage of the School​’​s ​​excellent location in the heart of the ByWard Market. The Ottawa School of Art has been celebrating visual arts training since 1879.

FINE ARTS DIPLOMA
three-year, 90 credit program

Students receive the benefits of an intensive pre-professional fine arts training program allowing them to complete most or all of their studies close to home. In addition, the Ottawa School of Art receives students from across Canada and from around the world creating an interesting and diverse
learning environment.

PORTFOLIO CERTIFICATE
one-year, 30 credit program

Structured for students who need to develop and expand their present body of work in preparation for applications to university, college or art school, this intensive course of study allows for a high degree of interaction with​ ​working professional artists in a studio setting.

OSA admission is on a first come, first served basis, until classes are filled. The OSA’s Fine Arts Diploma Program is registered with the Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities as a Private Career College.
