Photo Exhibition by Ryan Seyeau   Photographer Ryan Seyeau has captured the transformation of ‘Chinatown Blossoms’ through a series of photographs that demonstrates the diversity that is Chinatown. His works will be on display from September 15 to September 22, 2014 with the opening taking place on Monday September 15 from 5 to 8pm. Chinatown Blossoms; The Ottawa School of Art partnership with the Chinatown BIA to revitalize and beautify the commercial district by conducting a large street public art project. The project added a natural beauty through various art formats to this neighborhood that is short of green spaces. OSA instructor Dawn Dale lead students in this project to create public works of art along the streetscape. Abandoned windows, window frames and doors will be transformed into mini-murals; themed after Chinatown’s motto: A multicultural village with an Asian flavour. Artists were able to transform otherwise drab areas of Chinatown and revitalize them with unique works of art.
